A Very GCS Thanksgiving!!

Here at Graham Central Station in Tempe, we will not let a thing like being open on Thanksgiving stop us from celebrating!

I feel like this is what the spirit of Thanksgiving really is. Just making do wherever you are and enjoying time with the family you create : )

Sweet Potato Pie is the new Pumpkin haha!

This is our Thanksgiving conveyor belt!

It was a great night as far as I'm concerned. Thanks to all of you who stopped by and those who brought food to add to our feast!

Thanksgiving Turkey Drive!!

So, for Thanksgiving we went to 5 different places around Tempe to drop off Turkey Dinners for families in need!! Even though it was cold and 9:00am doesn't look so friendly on everyone…It was a really great experience. Check out our adventures….oh and I almost forgot…HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM GRAHAMS!!

The Graham's Crew!
The dinners are bagged and ready to go!
Alley Cat Heidi just woke up : )

Rolls…and mashed potatoes…mmm carbs!
Loading the trucks!!!

Still loading the trucks…

Now that the trucks are loaded and ready to go we are off to our first stop of the day. The Tempe YMCA on Rural and Guadalupe.

So next on our list was Our Lady of Mt. Caramel on Rural and Southern.

That's a lot of Turkey!

Seriously.

Our next destination…The Salvation Army on University and Myrtle.

Then, it was off to visit our friends at the Tempe Action Center on Price and Apache. There, we met all the moms of the Healthy Start program who were surprised by their Thanksgiving Feasts!

This place had carts…big plus : )

Awaiting the unsuspecting moms

Handing out the turkeys!

Heidi looks happy : )

Last stop of the day…The Church of The Resurrection on Dobson and Southern!

I mostly just like the clouds in the picture...

The last of the turkeys are on their way out...

…via shopping cart!

Dyani was looking cheerful this morning!

Again, thank you to everyone who helped out and made the Thanksgiving that much more special for so many families! Cheers and Happy Holidays from Graham Central Station Tempe!

Alley Cats Go To Pei Wei

Hey All!

So Halloween at Graham Central Station in Tempe has been awesome so far. All he staff has been super creative with their costumes. So, naturally the Alley Cats have been going all out.

On Saturday, the Alley Cats girls decided to dress up as dolls. Now let me preface this with an "Awkward moment when" story. As anyone who frequents Graham's knows…the alley cats wear chaps made of jeans with booty shorts and various crop tops. Now I personally, get dressed at home. Sometimes, I stop to get dinner on the way to work. So one day (probably one of the first times we wore the chaps) I thought to myself, "hmmmm…Pita Jungle sounds good". So, I got out of my car and walked in…

…the awkward moment when you walk into a public place, forgetting that you're wearing ass-less chaps, and everyone tries to act like they are not staring at you…is well, awkward! I panicked for a millisecond and then puffed up my chest and silently dared someone to comment with my eyes. Or that's what I did in my head : ) I reality I pulled out my phone and pretended to be talking to someone and casually mentioned how funny it was that I had "accidentally" worn my WORK clothes out in public….

…in short I managed to make an awkward situation…more awkward!

Long story short- the Alley Cats went to Pei Wei in their costumes and this is what ensued…
